Participation Process

Submit inventions and innovation works for the preliminary round through the National Research and Innovation Information System (NRIIS) at https://nriis.go.th.

Teams that pass the selection process will participate in the activity TVET Smart Idea2Innovation: Vocational Inventions and Innovations Toward Practical Application, to be held during May–June 2026.

Submissions are open from now until 23 March 2026.

Qualifications of Participants
(To promote equitable opportunity distribution and strengthen research networks)

Target Group:
Students at the Vocational Certificate (Por Wor Chor) Level, Year 1–2, or Higher Vocational Certificate (Por Wor Sor) Level, Year 1, in order to enable continuous development of their work prior to graduation.

Team Composition:
Each team must consist of 2 academic advisors and 2 students to ensure effective coaching and knowledge transfer.

Selection Consideration:
Institutions with diverse backgrounds will be considered, with emphasis on providing opportunities for “new generation researchers” whose research or inventions have not previously received awards.
