Prof. Dr. Janya Chanchaichujit Delivers Special Lecture at the Supply Chain Innovation Summit (SCIS 2025), Organized by the Innovation Supply Chain Education Alliance, Indonesia Recently, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Janya Chanchaichujit was honored to deliver a Special Lecture at the Supply Chain Innovation Summit (SCIS) 2025, organized online by the Innovation Supply Chain Education Alliance, Indonesia. The event attracted over 200 participants, including students and professionals from various industries across Indonesia.Under the topic “Designing for Sustainability: Transforming Supply Chains Through Digital and Energy Innovation,” Dr. Janya presented five key perspectives essential for transforming supply chains towards sustainability, in parallel with the adoption of digital technologies and clean energy innovations. These five points include:1. The evolution of supply chain management trends and strategies2. Supply chain emissions3. An integrated approach to sustainable supply chain transformation4. Key challenges of sustainable supply chain transition5. Procurement for sustainable supply chainsThis lecture offered new insights and inspired participants to design logistics and supply chain systems that effectively address both business objectives and environmental concerns. The recorded session is available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpvgmFd4BbE== 𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 ==
2025 The 9th International Conference on Green Energy and Applications

Call for PapersVenue: SingaporeImportant DatesSubmission Deadline: January 20, 2025Notification Deadline: February 10, 2025Registration Deadline: February 20, 2025Link: https://www.icgea.org/index.htmlSubmitted papers will be reviewed by Technical Program Committee and sub-reviewers. All accepted (Registered & Presented) papers of ICGEA 2025 will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore, indexed by EI Compendex & Scopus, etc. Energy is inarguably one of the most pressing global issues faced by humanity in this century, and a reliable and sustainable energy system is crucial to achieve a more sustainable future. The world's energy consumption is expected to nearly double by 2050, with most of the growth happened in countries outside of the OECD. Sustainable development requires consistent access to clean, affordable energy to support economic activity, improve national development, and improve human wellbeing. In addition, there is a strong link between the energy sector and global climate change due to the impact of CO2 arising from burning the fossil fuels. Study shows that carbon emissions hit the peak in 2018, mainly from the carbon-rich fossil fuels that generated nearly 85% of the world’s energy. Taking the above-mentioned as a backdrop, energy is certainly a complex technology involving multidisciplinary research, development, demonstration and deployment in energy systems, grid systems and applications, especially in the energy transition era.In anticipation, the combination of rising populations and living standards of human society in the next 50 years will demand for the development of massively scaled sustainable energy and low-carbon electricity generation solutions with an objective of battling the climate change. These challenges, albeit an unparalleled threat to the business-as-usual, also represent a remarkable opportunity for research, innovation, and green growth. With the success of the previous 8 year, ICGEA came to its 9th edition in 2025. It is proud to announce that 2025 The 9th International Conference on Green Energy and Applications will be held during March 7-9, 2025 in Singapore, which is sponsored by Singapore Institute of Electronics. The theme of ICGEA 2025 is to bridge and connect presenters and audience with different disciplines and background as well as from different geographical locations. The most interesting and disruptive technology often happened at edges and boundaries of different disciplines, and so the aim of the conference is to bring these brains together to synthesize the ideas and knowledge from different sources to achieve the energy innovation.ICGEA 2025 scope covers, but not limited to, the following topics:• Advance biofuel for a sustainable heavy-duty transport and aviation• Bioenergy supply management strategies• Biofuels in developing economies• Biomass• Carbon and Methane capture, storage and utilization• Electric Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution• Energy and Health• Energy and Water• Energy efficiency in building designs and management• Energy in food production and processing• Energy storage and cyber security for smart grids• FACTS and HVDC controllers• Geothermal energy• Green Buildings and Infrastructures• Green energy and energy access• Green energy and social benefits• Green Energy Education and Training• Green Energy in Transport• Green Industrial Technology• Green Policies and Programmes• Green Power• Greening the Fossil Fuels• Greening Urbanization and Urban Settlements• Hybrid vehicles and its integration• Hydropower• Income generation with green energy• Increasing energy access with clean resources• Integration of renewable energy sources in buildings• Low carbon city scenarios, plans and actions• Mainstreaming low-carbon innovations• MDGs and Green Energy• Microgrid and active distribution network management• National bioenergy programmes: economic, political and social issues• Natural gas research and development• Power system economics, operation and control• Protection, reliability, and restructuring of power systems• Rapid urbanization and energy-environmental implications• Regulatory policies and program for implementation and control• Renewable Energy for Power and Heat• Role and future of electric vehicles in smart grids• Rural Development through Green Energy• Settlement forms and functions and energy• Smart Grid and Renewable Energy Integration• Solar thermal and photovoltaics• Sustainable coal use and clean coal technologies• Sustainable materials for buildings• Transformation of power grids to smart grids• Wind energy
